This is often a thankless job and at times I am just as guilty as the next person in not showing my appreciation for all that you do. So, on this Thanksgiving, I want to say THANK YOU!!!

I am continuously impressed with the amount of time and energy that each of you put into making sure all students at South Arbor are successful! Dress Code-Rainbow Loom Bracelets

Please remind your students that the Rainbow Loom bracelets (rubber band bracelets) are not school dress code and they cannot wear them at school.

NJHS Blood Drive

Please include in your weekly newsletter about the NJHS Blood Drive on November 26th. We want to get as many parents who can to participate. You can use the blurb below:

The NJHS sponsored blood drive is right around the corner. It is Tuesday, November 26 from 1:00 until 6:45 in the gym. Holding a drive the Monday before Thanksgiving is significant for the American Red Cross. We would appreciate you taking the time to donate something that is so precious. Remember 1 pint of blood can save up to 3 lives!

Make an appointment today so that you do not have to wait by going to
www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: saa

Retention

During Parent-Teacher conferences next week remember that our new retention policy requires that we notify parents of the possibility of retention before winter break, in addition to, referring that student to IAT. If you have students at risk of retention, please let me know right away so we can begin the appropriate documentation.
