Observations & O3s

We are finally done with full observations, goal O3s, and mid-year evaluations. Yippee!!!

We are back on schedule for regular O3s and observations. I will be in your classrooms next week observing your new goals and skills. J

Lunch Coverage

 

Students will be eating lunch in your classrooms on Friday, February 7^th due to the Science Fair. Gail and I will be coming around to give you a 5 minute break during that time. However, please plan to eat lunch in your classroom because we won’t be able to give everyone enough of a break for a full lunch period. Sorry!

Out of the Building

On Wednesday, February 5^th Jen, Megan, and I will be in Lansing for Dean Training. If you need anything, please see your team lead or Kim.

During the month of January we will be working on mid-year evaluations as well as beginning the second round of full length observations. I want to give you a quick snapshot of what you can expect this week.

Week of January 20:

·         Regular O3s as scheduled

o   During your O3, we will discuss your self-evaluation and finalize mid-year evaluation

Mid-year Evaluations and Full Observations

During the month of January we will be working on mid-year evaluations as well as beginning the second round of full length observations. I want to give you a quick snapshot of what you can expect next week during your O3.

Week of January 13:

·         Deans placed self-evaluation rubric for the mid-year evaluation in your mailbox

o   Self-evaluations are due to your Dean by Friday, January 17^th

 

·         Deans will place in your mailbox full observations sheets and have you choose two categories (colors)

o   Final submission of the categories (colors) are due at your regular scheduled O3 the week of January 13^th

·         Regular O3s as scheduled

·         During your O3:

o   Teachers will identify their two categories (colors) for full observations

o Teachers will schedule their full observations and Goal O3s
