Mid-Year Evaluations



During the month of December, we will be working on mid-year evaluations. Don’t forget that mid-year self-evaluation rubrics are due this Friday, December 5th!

O3s

Our SIP states that we will have a meeting every trimester between RTI teachers, classroom teachers and the dean. With the end of the trimester behind us, we would like to schedule the RtI meetings during your O3s this week (Dec 1-5). We are anticipating that the meeting should last about 10 minutes.

Also, please bring your accommodation logs to your O3s this week.

Reading Street News

Assessment:
·       Unit 2, Level 2 assessment will be given this short week!

·       No story, writing, spelling, etc.

Writing:
·       You will be doing Unit 2 Performance Task next week, even though you are beginning Unit 3, Week 1 for all of the other components.

As you complete your first two skills, you will need to select a new skill during your O3 that pertains to our PLC goals. Some to consider:

Constructed Responses
·       Please bring constructed response samples to your grade-level meeting this week.  

·       You will need one student’s constructed response for each score (4, 3, 2, 1, and 0) to discuss.

o   3rd grade: bring five different constructed responses for the story, Tops and Bottoms

o   4th grade: bring five different constructed responses for the story, Scene Two

o   5th grade: bring five different constructed responses for the story, A Summer’s Trade
