Classroom Framework Evidence

Don’t forget that we will be focusing on assessing and workshop this week. Please look over the descriptions for each rating and let me know if you have any questions about the expectation of evidence needed.

Week of October 23-27: Assessing and Workshop
·        Please bring evidence to your O3 for the indicator “Actionable Feedback”
·        We usually cover the first two assessing indicators during grade-level meetings, but evidence can be brought since we haven’t started administering interims yet.
·        I will be observing workshop for those who are scheduled this week. I will be focusing on Planning: Differentiated Planning and Teaching: Personalized Instruction.
Possible Assessing Evidence:
·        Class Grid analysis sheet for math and/or reading summative assessments (MAP, unit, etc.)
·        Different work samples of completed activities used to address misconceptions identified on your class grid sheet
·        Feedback written on assessments or activities
·        Student goal sheets with action steps
·        Evidence of students tracking their progress

Continue to collect your evidence and/or begin to think about when you want me to observe your instruction for the following competencies for the remainder of October and November.

Week of October 30-November 3: Classroom Culture
·        Schedule a 15 minute Classroom Culture observation

Week of November 6-10: Planning
·        Bring lesson plans for the weeks of October 16, 23, 30, and November 6

Week of November 13-17: Teaching
·        Schedule a 15 minute Teaching observation

Week of November 20-24: Assessing
·        Please place your evidence in my mailbox for the indicator “Actionable Feedback” before you leave for break.
·        We cover the first two indicators during grade-level meetings

Don’t forget the Classroom Framework schedule for each month
Week 1: Classroom Culture (observation)
Week 2: Planning (bring evidence to O3)
Week 3: Teaching (observation)
Week 4: Assessing (bring evidence to O3)
