Classroom Framework

We are focusing on assessing and continuing FLO this week. Please look over the descriptions for each rating and let me know if you have any questions about the expectation of evidence needed.

Week of October 29-November 2: Assessing & FLO

·       FLO #1 continue for those who haven’t been observed yet.

·       Please bring your assessing evidence to your Goal O3 this week.

·       If we have already had your Goal O3, please place it in my mailbox by Wednesday, October 31.

Possible Assessing Evidence:

·       Class Grid analysis sheet for math and/or reading summative assessments (MAP, unit, etc.)

·       Different work samples of completed workshop activities

·       Feedback written on assessments or workshop activities

·       Student goal sheets with action steps

·       Evidence of students tracking their progress

Achievement Boards

Achievement boards are due November 9. Here are a few reminders as you prepare your board:

1.      If the student work has a score on it, take off the student's name before displaying it. If the student work does not have a score on it, it is acceptable to post the student's name.

          2.     Make sure to include the following when posting your

                achievement board:

·       Title

·       Objective written as an I Can statement

·       Standard (Common Core, NGSS, etc.)

·       Student work

·       Specific feedback for each student

o   Please write more than “Good job!”

Week of October 22-26: Workshop & FLO

·       FLO #1 continue this week for those who haven’t been observed yet

·       Schedule a 30-minute workshop observation for me to observe if I didn’t observe it the week of October 15 (to be included as FLO #1 evidence)

Continue to collect your evidence and/or begin to think about when you want me to observe your instruction for the following competencies for the remainder of October.

Week of October 29-November 2: Assessing & FLO

·       Please bring assessing evidence to your O3 (to be included as FLO #1 evidence)

o   We usually cover the first two indicators during grade-level meetings, but additional evidence should be brought since we haven’t administered interims or unit assessments yet. (to be included as FLO #1 evidence)
