Taking timely
and accurate attendance is very important both for student safety and for state
auditing purposes. When student attendance is not entered correctly it can
impact our state funding as well. As discussed during your grade level
meetings, any teacher who has incomplete weekly attendance three
times within a trimester will be required to submit a Weekly Attendance Grid to
their dean for the remainder of that trimester. The printing of the weekly grid will help the teacher
and dean to more closely monitor attendance taking with the goal of 100%
accurate attendance from all teachers.
